The College Choir performs live on BBC Radio 3's In Tune

On Monday 18 November the Choral Students and Director of Music, Andrew Nethsingha, headed to BBC Broadcasting House in London. They arrived in plenty of time to rehearse before appearing live on BBC Radio 3's’s In Tune programme at 4.30pm.

The Director of Music, Andrew Nethsingha, was interviewed in connection with the recent release of the Choir's John Sheppard CD and spoke about his thoughts on the English Choral music tradition. The interview was interspersed with three pieces performed by the Choral Students live from the studio - Sheppard: In Pace, Harris: Holy is the true light and Poulenc: Salut Dame Sainte.

Just before the 5 o'clock news, seven of the Choral Students gave a rendition of ‘Miss Otis Regrets’ performed as the close harmony group, The Gentlemen of St John's College, Cambridge.
