Epiphany Carol Service I

A candlelit service of readings and music to celebrate the season of Epiphany.

Music this year includes Deo Gracias (Britten (arr. Harrison)), That yonge child (Britten), In the bleak midwinter (Darke), A Gallery Carol (Gardner), Nunc Dimittis (Holst), I saw three ships (arr. Marshall), One star, at last (Maxwell Davies), Sleep, little Jesus, sleep (Panufnik), There is no rose (Pott), The Lamb (Tavener) and The Seven Joys (Whitehead). The readings and hymns tell the narrative of the coming of Christ, the Magi’s visit, and the presentation in the Temple.
