Students awarded prizes for excellence - December 2012

The following students are among those who have been awarded University prizes for their outstanding academic achievements since November 2012.

Justin Albstein, who has recently graduated, was awarded the William Barclay Squire Essay Prize by the Faculty of Music for the best MPhil dissertation on a subject connected to the history of music.

Dr Rajna Golubic was recently awarded the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Studentship for academic excellence whilst studying for her PhD in Medical Science at the MRC Epidemiology Unit.

Sam Gundle was awarded a prize, sponsored by Accenture, from the Department of Engineering for his excellent Part IB Computing Project.

Daniel Salmon has been awarded a prize, from the Department of Engineering, for coming runner up in the Part IA Conceptual Design Project.

Manon Van Thorenburg has been awarded a CUED Language Prize in the category of ‘Third Year European Project Prizes 2012’, for an outstanding Engineering project in Spanish.
