Historiated initial and border from f.60v of MS A.4(IV), Giovanni d’Andrea’s Glossa ordinaria in Librum Sextum (English, c. 1335-50). The initial depicts a marriage ceremony, and the borders incorporate a squirrel eating a nut, various grotesques, a musician, and shields bearing the arms of Norwich and Cailly.
